The single biggest factor that has affected my health throughout my life is exercise. For me these days, this takes the form of boxing and weightlifting. Moving my body on a regular basis has profoundly improved my mobility, strength, balance, body composition, and my health markers. But perhaps the biggest impact that movement has on my body is on my mind-- I am calmer, more confident, happier, and a better mom and wife when I take care of my body.
As a physician assistant with a master's degree in medical science from Yale School of Medicine, training in functional medicine, and an NASM certification as a personal trainer and nutrition coach, I have a deep understanding of female physiology and hormone cycles, and can help you apply this knowledge in practical terms, whether you are a female athlete at the start of menarche, a young woman looking to optimize fertility or recover post-partum, or a peri/menopausal woman looking to improve her healthspan for many years to come.Ā
